About Me...
Hi! My name is Lenora Gray. I live in Dallas, Texas with my husband, 16 year old daughter, 13 year old son and our two dogs. Although I have lived in Texas for nearly twenty years and think of it as my second home, I was raised in Montana. We go back every year, and I guess I will always consider Montana to be my home.
After leaving my full time Accounting position several years ago, my love of Native American jewelry inspired me to take a fabrication class at The Craft Guild of Dallas. I loved the class. I knew I had found something I really enjoyed, but it took a lot of work to finish one piece and I am all about instant gratification. I dabbled a little in making beaded jewelry, but I was frustrated with the quality and selection of the beads. That's when I stumbled onto the lampwork beads on Ebay. I took another class at The Craft Guild, and I was hooked. This was the perfect medium for me. I started putting together a studio in my house, and I haven't looked back since. My main focus is making beads, but I also love to make finished jewelry pieces that incorporate my beads.

What is a Lampwork Bead?
I realized that some of you may have stumbled onto this website and don't really know what a lampwork bead is. Lampwork beads are made by using a torch to heat a rod of glass. The molten glass is then wound around a metal rod to make a bead. When the base bead has been formed, other colors of glass can be added to the surface to create many designs. The bead is then annealed in a kiln for durability.
